2point0, Matt Lee and Jeff Parker, Sign with All Elite Wrestling

2point0 AEW

On Thursday afternoon, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) owner Tony Khan made an announcement regarding the latest signing for the promotion. He announced that 2point0, Matt Lee and Jeff Parker, were officially #AllElite. This comes one day after they faced off with Sting and Darby Allin to open up Dynamite.

The addition of 2point0 is a big one for AEW, as the popular tag team began to get a following during their days in WWE NXT as Ever-Rise. They had their show, Ever-Rise Live, on WWE social media platforms that had taken off. The likes of Kevin Owens had even been seen wearing “Ever-Rise Rules” shirts on SmackDown over the past year. The team was released from WWE on July 25 as part of a batch of releases from the NXT brand.

2point0 made their presence felt from their first appearance in AEW. They, aligning themselves with indie standout Daniel Garcia, called out Jon Moxley, Darby Allin, and Eddie Kingston. It would lead to a match on Dynamite for their in-ring debuts. While they lost, it was only the beginning for the team and trio. They had begun to rack up wins on AEW’s YouTube shows before their loss to Sting and Allin in the Texas Tornado Match Wednesday night.

Could “The Show” be making their way onto AEW television soon now that they are signed? Sure seems possible. Either way, AEW has added another team and trio (including Garcia) into their ranks.
