Mickie James has arrived in the IMPACT Zone! Well, in IMPACT at least. On Saturday night, Mickie James brought “Hardcore Country back to IMPACT Wrestling following Deonna Purrazzo‘s successful Knockouts Championship defense against Thunder Rosa at Slammiversary. James was there to give Purrazzo an appealing offer, but instead, Purrazzo was angered by the ruining of her moment. This would lead to James hitting a Mick Kick on Purrazzo.

The offer by Mickie James was to have Purrazzo appear on the National Wrestling Alliance‘s all-women’s PPV, Empower. She stated she wanted the best on the show and believed that is exactly what Purrazzo is. Seeing that the segment ended with Purrazzo being drilled by James, this could be what gets James on the show despite saying she did not want to compete on it. After all, this is a big-money match that NWA would welcome on their PPV.
No matter what, Purrazzo and James are far from done and if you wanted to make a bet, bet that Purrazzo will be on that Empower show in some form. “The Virtuosa” will not pass up an opportunity to prove to the world that she is the absolute best women’s champion going.
