On Tuesday night’s special episode of NXT, Tegan Nox made her long-awaited return to the brand. The Great American Bash was made to be a special show and it proved to do so as “The Girl With The Shiniest Wizard” made her presence known as the secret behind the charging battery video that we have seen the last couple of weeks. She made her return in the middle of the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship match, costing Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell the championships against Io Shirai and Zoey Stark.

Nox last competed in August in the SmackDown Battle Royal that would decide the number one contender for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at SummerSlam. At the time on NXT television, she was feuding with Candice LeRae. The last time we had seen Nox was backstage getting her knee destroyed by LeRae, leading to her time away from the ring. It makes sense that she cost LeRae her title on her first night back.
With Nox finally back and healthy (hopefully for good), she can rise to the top like many believed she was destined to for so many years. The women’s division in NXT only gets better and better.
