AEW Dynamite Card (6/26/21) – Saturday Night Dynamite

Kenny omega vs Jungle Boy

The atmosphere will be electric whether you’re watching at home or live at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL. All Elite Wrestling presents the second-ever Saturday night edition of AEW Dynamite. This is the last stop before AEW goes back to Wednesday nights and what a night it will be. In the main event, the AEW World Championship will be decided in a match of epic proportions as the proud champion defends against one of the youngest but best challengers AEW has to offer. Scores will be settled or prolonged between a cowboy and a destructive mastodon and much much more coming your way Saturday night as part of this AEW Dynamite card.

Saturday is a momentous and special day for AEW. On the very first Saturday Night Dynamite, an “Exalted One” accomplished his crowning achievement, a moment no one will soon forget. Is history bound to repeat itself? Will fans see the crowning of a new champion when the latest episode of AEW Dynamite rolls around? There’s only one way to find out because “It’s Saturday night, and you know what that means!”

Hangman Page vs. Powerhouse Hobbs – Debts Paid in Blood

“Hangman” Adam Page will have one hell of a Dynamite as he goes up against the destructive force of Team Taz in the form of Powerhouse Hobbs. The animosity amongst the members of Taz’s crew has been tense, to say the least. It’s been well-documented over the past number of weeks that Ricky Starks and Brian Cage have some issues they need to settle and Taz implored Ricky to fix it once and for all so they could go back to the dominating ways of Team Taz.

Cage walked out in the middle of a tag team match with Hobbs against Page and Dark Order’s 10 when Starks went too far and slapped “The Machine”. That attack provoked Brian to go after Starks leaving Powerhouse Hobbs high and dry in a two-on-one situation. To Hobbs’s credit, he almost single-handedly won the match despite being handicapped. But, Page and 10 proved to be too much as they came away with the victory.

Taz, last week on Dynamite, laid down the challenge. Top wrestler against a top wrestler. He wants the odds even up. Taz would say that if Hangman really is the real deal, he would have no problem facing and beating Hobbs one on one in a fair fight. This leads us to Saturday night, Hangman Page versus Powerhouse Hobbs on this AEW Dynamite card. Team Taz has set its sights on another victim. But, if anyone knows a thing or two about Adam Page is that he will not just lay down and be victimized. Will Adam Page come out of this match with a beer in hand and another win to his record or will Powerhouse Hobbs royally beat the living daylights out of the Hangman?

The Best In The World Versus The Underdog

Kenny Omega will defend the AEW World Championship against a challenger who went through hell and back to earn this opportunity in Jungle Boy. Omega has made it known that he respects Jungle Boy but fully expects to overcome one of the hottest AEW stars right now like clockwork. Kenny has made it abundantly clear en-route to this big matchup that he may look at Jungle Boy as a credible opponent but not enough to win the world title come Saturday night. The champion has stopped at nothing to demean, embarrass, and, belittle anyone who even dares breathe the same air as he is. Omega firmly believes he is “The Best In The World” and that will remain that way as long as he and The Elite have anything to say about it.

The challenger will have his hands full in quite possibly the biggest matchup of his career as part of this AEW Dynamite card. Going into this match, Jungle Boy will be the underdog and will have the deck stacked against him. But his fighting spirit knows no bounds and he will not go down that easily. This is the opportunity of a lifetime to be the World Champion at only 24 years of age. Only a few legends will lay claim to achieving such a feat. Rest assured, Jungle Boy will be ready as he aims to become the new AEW World Champion. Don’t even blink, folks. This will be something special. It’s Jungle Boy versus Kenny Omega, who will come out on top and be the face of AEW?
