After injuring her knee once again, one-half of the International Ribbon Tag Team Champions, Hiragi Kurumi, has vacated the title she was holding with Hiroyo Matsumoto. She will take time out to get surgery so that she can return rather than retire like her original plan was. Thus, the International Ribbon Tag Team titles in Ice Ribbon have now been rendered vacant.
This news has prompted action from Ice Ribbon. Announced after their 15 Anniversary show, they will hold a three-way tag match to crown new champions.

Matsumoto is still involved in the tag scene though; she will be teaming up with the current ICExInfinity champion Tsukasa Fujimoto. If they do manage to win, fans could see the tag team champions facing off for Fujimoto’s championship at the Yokohama Budokan show in August.
The others involved include the former champions Maya Yukihi and Maika Ozaki, as well as the FantastICE Champion Risa Sera and Akane Fujita. They will also compete for the vacant International Ribbon Tag Team titles.
