WWE NXT Results: In-Depth Match Analysis
Ember Moon vs. Dakota Kai
Ember Moon and Dakota Kai are not only among the absolute best in NXT but the entire WWE. That also leaves them as the most underrated in the company as well and they showed it in this match. Both women showed immense unorthodox offense throughout the match and competed as though they were competing for the NXT Women’s Championship in this one. At one point in the match, Kai spun Moon using her legs to smash her skull into the ring post. AS the match went on, Raquel Gonzalez began to get involved. That’s when Moon upped her limits by clearing out both women and neared a win over Kai. Unfortunately, Gonzalez ran into the ring and nailed Moon, resulting in a disqualification.
Moon and Kai have shown in the past that their chemistry is fantastic. That continued on Tuesday night. If Moon is able to win the championship on Sunday, this should be the first match for the title because fans deserve an encore.
