Veteran Exótico Star Pasión Kristal Passes Away at 45

Pasion Kristal Dead at 45

Sad news out of Mexico, as longtime Extotico luchador Pasión Kristal has passed away at the age of 45. In a tragic turn of events, TV Azteca is reporting that the 45-year old Exotico star drowned on Tuesday, June 1 in Acapulco, and sadly the body has still not been recovered. Kristal was in town for a wrestling event she was scheduled to perform at.

Pasión Kristal debuted in 1994 and in 2008 made her AAA Lucha Libre debut as part of Los Exoticos with Cassandro and Pimpenella Escarlata. She remained a part of AAA until 2015, then headed to International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) in 2016, where she remained until this day. She last competed for IWRG on May 30 in a tag team tournament with her Las Shotas partner, Jessy Ventura. In 2012, she started her own promotion, Lucha Libre y Espectaculos del Sureste (LLES), while still remaining with IWRG and working various Mexican independents. As well as being a longtime star in the Exotico scene in Mexico, Kristal was also a strong advocate in the Mexican LGBTQIA+ community.

LWOPW sends its condolences to Pasion Kristal’s family as well as her friends, peers, and fans around the world.
