Stardom returns to Korakuen Hall ahead of the rescheduled Tokyo Dream Cinderella. This is a real one match card with Natsupoi vs Fukigen Death for the High Speed title taking the main event spot but the undercard has some Future Of Stardom tournament action to dig our teeth into. Let’s take a look at the card for Stardom Road To Tokyo Dream Cinderella on June 8.
Stardom Road To Tokyo Dream Cinderella (6/8/21) Full Card
– Future Of Stardom Tournament 1st Round: Rina vs Hina
– Future Of Stardom Tournament Semi-Final: Mina Shirakawa vs Winner of Hina vs Rina
– Future Of Stardom Tournament Semi-Final: Hanan vs Unagi Sayaka
Tam Nakano vs AZM vs Konami vs Lady C
STARS (Mayu Iwatani, Starlight Kid & Koguma) vs Oedo Tai (Natsuko Tora, Ruaka & Saki Kashima)
Queen’s Quest (Momo Watanabe, AZM, & Utami Hayashishita) vs Donna Del Mondo (Giulia, Maika & Syuri)
High Speed Championship: Natsupoi (c) vs Fukigen Death
Rina vs Hina
Rina makes her return to Stardom after she was abruptly pulled from a recent show. She comes back to face her twin sister Hina in a first round match in the tournament to crown the new Future Of Stardom champion. The twins are currently tied at 4-4 in their previous singles matches with Rina winning the last two. Rina is the more consistently pushed sister and will likely beat Hina here to extend her streak.
Mina Shirakawa vs Hina or Rina
Mina Shirakawa, in her 30s, is going to wrestle a child on this show in a match for the FUTURE of Stardom Championship. If that doesn’t tickle you in some way then we don’t know what will. Mina Shirakawa goes into this one as the obvious favorite but if Rina is her opponent we may see Oedo Tai get involved to cheat Rina to victory.
Hanan vs Unagi Sayaka
The tournament winner will likely come from this match as two of the most prominent performers in contention for the Future Of Stardom title collide in the semi-final. Hanan and Sayaka’s factions were at war months ago but due to personal issues, Hanan missed a lot of the war and has only shared the ring with Unagi Sayaka twice. Sayaka goes into this match as the favorite but this could steal the show as they have shown good chemistry in their previous encounters. Either way, the winner of this match will go on to win the tournament.
High Speed Championship: Natsupoi (c) vs Fukigen Death
Natsupoi makes defense number two of her High Speed Championship against Oedo Tai’s Fukigen Death. The chances of Natsupoi losing are slim as her reign still has some legs but Fukigen Death and Oedo Tai can really pull off wins out of nowhere. Regardless this will be a good match as Death is entertaining and poi has been one of the standouts of Stardom this year.
