Betting odds in professional wrestling are often an indication of what we could see go down on a major show. AEW has been no exception to this rule so ahead of Double Or Nothing we are going to take a look at some of the early favorites for the show, we still have the AEW Dynamite go-home special to go which could sway the betting odds big time as well as the promise of smart money to come in and give us an even better indication of what will happen. With that said let’s take a look at what the SkyBet odds for Double Or Nothing currently project will happen.
AEW Betting Odds Early Favorites for Double Or Nothing 2021
Anthony Ogogo vs Cody Rhodes
The odds currently favor the guv’nor Anthony Ogogo to continue his run of momentum against the “American Dream” Cody Rhodes. Ogogo has come into AEW like a house on fire with his gut punches proving to be a lethal weapon against any opponent. At 8/15 Ogogo is the AEW Betting odds favorite which is the right result, whether things stay that way or not remains to be seen.
Adam Page vs Brian Cage
It will come as no surprise to anyone that Adam Page is currently leading the way at 1/2 favorite to get the win. This match feels like a stop-gap for Page on his road to the AEW title and a win makes the most sense.
Sting & Darby Allin vs Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky
Again it will come as no surprise that the AEW betting odds are currently heavily in favor of Sting and Darby Allin. At 1/5 Skybet’s odds have Sting and Allin as a lock to walk away with the win.
Casino Batlle Royal
This match is still a mess currently with Christian Cage edging out Penta El Zero Miedo and Jungle Boy at 11/4. Cage is far from a clear favorite though and any late surge of smart money could sway this one so it’ll be interesting to keep an eye on how that progresses. For our money, the joker may be the one to keep your eyes on in this one.
TNT Championship – Miro vs Lance Archer
The newly crowned TNT Champion Miro is the favorite to win this match at 1/6. As protected as Archer has been it doesn’t seem like Miro will lose his title on the first time of asking. It’s likely this is AEWs way of putting Miro over as he defeats one of the company’s monsters in a hoss battle.
AEW World Tag Team Championships – Young Bucks vs Eddie Kingston & Jon Moxley
This will be another interesting match to keep eyes on as the week progresses. The Young Bucks are currently the slight favorites at 8/11 with the challengers just behind them at 1/1. A tag team title run would be a great way to keep Jon Moxley occupied away from the world title scene but AEW may want the Young Bucks to hold on to the titles and overtake Kenny Omega and Page as the longest-reigning champions in title history.
AEW Women’s World Championship – Hikaru Shida vs Britt Baker
Britt Baker goes into this match as the very heavy favorite at 2/7 compared to Shida’s 5/2. Similar to some of the early Royal Rumble favorites from last year this feels like fan optimism going a bit overboard as Shida has been a dominant champion atop AEW’s women division and could overcome Baker here with Thunder Rosa waiting in line to challenge in a highly anticipated rematch from All Out.
Stadium Stampede – The Pinnacle vs The Inner Circle
With the future of The Inner Circle on the line, the current AEW betting odds indicate that the faction will be going away. The Pinnacle are the slight favorites at 4/6 to come away with the win. This is another one that could easily swing as the week goes on as The Inner Circle isn’t too far behind.
AEW World Championship – Kenny Omega vs PAC vs Orange Cassidy
Kenny Omega is the huge favorite to win this thrown-together title defense at 1/4. Neither PAC nor Orange Cassidy is even close to Omega in the betting odds which makes sense as neither really feels like a good candidate to take the title off of Omega at this point in time. While this could obviously switch as we get closer to the event it seems like Omega is practically a lock to retain.
