On Tuesday, it was announced by Peacock that a newly created and produced show by 16-time world champion John Cena will be hitting the streaming service later this year. The show, titled WWE Evil, will take a look at the greatest antagonists in the history of WWE and what their impact is on the mainstream. Peacock describes the show as “an entertaining psychological exposé into the minds of the most diabolical antagonists in WWE history.” Cena will also be the narrator of the series.
Here’s what Cena had to say about his new project:
For every good guy, there has to be a bad one and @WWE has created some of the BEST bad guys (and ladies) in the history of entertainment.
Excited to highlight those who made us boo, scream, and sometimes cry!

John Cena, one of WWE’s greatest stars ever, will instantly bring eyes to his new project as he digs deep into those who helped make what WWE is today. Over the past number of weeks, WWE has been taking in-depth looks at some of their greatest in their A&E “Biography” series, featuring the likes of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper. Piper appears to be a perfect candidate for this new “WWE Evil” show.
While there is no word yet on who will officially be featured in the series, expect “The Leader of the Cenation” to dive into those from every era to give a real experience unlike any other.
