The first Nightmare Factory Showcase led to AEW debuts for some standout names like Brooke Havok, Dean Alexander, Hayden Backlund, and Carlie Bravo. Whether this second showcase unearths some prospects or not remains to be seen but one thing can be sure, every competitor will have their fundamentals drilled into them by the Nightmare Factory trainers.
What’s interesting about this showcase is that on-screen QT Marshall and Cody Rhodes are at odds, the two are trainers at the Nightmare Factory. There is some speculation that we could see the issues between the two spill over to this showcase in some fashion to tie in to their feud on AEW television. Even if not, we’re guaranteed to see some future stars in action, possibly in their first match ever.
