On the Rebellion fallout edition of IMPACT! On AXS TV it was announced that Bullet Club member and two-time Super J-Cup winner El Phantasmo would be making his IMPACT Wrestling debut on the next edition of IMPACT!. This continues the renewed relationship between IMPACT and New Japan Pro Wrestling that appeared when FinJuice began to work in IMPACT recently.

El Phantasmo is a Junior Heavyweight in NJPW and has been a Jr. heavyweight tag team champion in the past. Phantasmo could easily slot into IMPACT’s X-Division and take the fight to new X-Division champion Josh Alexander. Phantasmo could also join the pack and chase Kenny Omega as he could also excel outside the X-Division with ease.
The forbidden doors to New Japan have firmly been blown off the hinges with NJPW talents now appearing in IMPACT as well as AEW, Yuji Nagata was just announced for AEW Dynamite in two weeks’ time. Professional Wrestling is exciting as it has ever been in 2021, and something tells us it is only going to get better. With FinJuice sticking around in IMPACT for the short-term future it will be interesting to see how long Phantasmo is featured for.
