While the Acid Cup 3 tournament hit some snags on the first day due to various complications, Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) still managed to pull off a great first round of action. Day two culminated in arguably two of the top breakout stars of 2020’s pandemic era of wrestling – Lee Moriarty and Jordan Oliver – in the finals for the 2021 edition of The Acid Cup. In the end, it was Jordan Oliver who prevailed, capturing the third Acid Cup crown behind Joey Janela and Chris Dickinson.

Both Moriarty and Oliver exploded in 2020, with huge wins or match-ups with legends and innovators, showing their value as future faces of the industry. The finals were a legit battle between two of the most improved and best-presented performers of the past year, in a match that sets a new tone for GCW and the U.S. indies. Lee Moriarty will not lose a step as the new IWTV Independent Wrestling Champion, while now Jordan Oliver has added more fuel to his own resume.
