TJPW has announced that they will begin running an all-English one-match show called “That’s J-PW” starting in April to be streamed on WrestleUniverse.

The news comes as both DDT and TJPW have recently had success with their English commentary shows. The show, starting on April 12th, will feature one match and takes place in a venue without an audience.
It will air on WrestleUniverse twice a week. The current schedule and time slots are:
JST: 11:00 AM on Mondays and Thursdays
GMT: 2:00AM on Mondays and Thursdays
EST: 10:00PM on Sundays and Wednesdays
PST: 7:00PM on Sundays and Wednesdays
It will run for 15 minutes and will include commentary from Chris Brookes, and Baliyan Akki from ChocoPro. The wrestlers involved will attempt to respond in English and TJPW announcer Sayuri Namba will also call the matches in English. This is big news for international fans of TJPW that may not understand Japanese. It also shows a willingness from CyberFight to cover the market. With the recent debut of Maki Itoh in AEW, this represents an attempt by TJPW to reach out to a fanbase unfamiliar with the product and offer them an English language show that will allow them to take the plunge and become fans.
