During NXT, a vignette aired signaling the debut of Sarray, a new face to the women’s division. Sarray was previously known as Sareee during her time in Japan. She was supposed to make the move to WWE last year but COVID-19 delayed her debut until this year.

During her time in Japan, Sarray was trained and spent most of her career with World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana, where she debuted in 2011. While she wrestled all over Japan, Diana was always her home. She was rewarded for her dedication to the company in 2018 when she won the promotion’s top championship for the first time ever.
2019 was a huge year for Sarray as she became a regular in Sendai Girls where she earned a victory over Meiko Satomura before defeating the promotion’s ace Chihiro Hashimoto to win the Sendai Girls Championship. During this year, Sarray became one of the most in-demand names in all of Joshi wrestling with her hard-hitting style making her one of the most crowd-pleasing performers in Japan.
After that big year, she was supposed to join WWE in 2020, but COVID-19 delayed this as she returned to the Joshi scene as a free agent. During this run, she performed mostly for SEAdLINNNG where she won the tag team titles alongside Yoshiko before losing them in January in her final match in Japan.
