Tensions are high but the Cruiserweights fly higher in another edition of WWE 205 Live. The purple brand has had its fair share of back and forth between its new breed of stars and the OGs of the brand over the past number of weeks. One competitor remains undefeated, carrying all the momentum this week with his newfound partner by his side. A “Lone Star” has been riding a wave of confidence as the result of last week. Finally, a certain truce may be coming to an end. Don’t change the channel – it’s WWE 205 Live! No matches have been announced as of yet. Nonetheless, here’s a speculative preview of what’s to come on the purple brand of WWE.
What to Expect on 205 Live
– Mansoor has been on a winning streak as of late, and he hopes to continue that with Ashante “Thee” Adonis by his side. Mansoor has been undefeated, which is no easy feat to accomplish in WWE. Over the past couple of weeks, he has been on the winning end of multiple tag team matches, churning out highlight after highlight in the process. If Mansoor keeps this up, he will surely jump to the front of the line for an NXT Cruiserweight Championship opportunity down the line. Speaking of which…
I AM A VILLAIN, I ❤️ a good beating, don’t care which end I get, as long as it’s ug-lee, ya think ya dominated? ya trippin, you just won… no monster, no super-natural freak, you 2 can fall, and me, Still the leader, still the emperor, still a bada$$…still #LegadoDelFantasma☠️ pic.twitter.com/1v34bXyJgE
— SANTOS ESCOBAR💀🇲🇽 (@EscobarWWE) February 25, 2021
– Santos Escobar, as well as the rest of Legado Del Fantasma, had a very busy night on the latest edition of WWE NXT. Escobar took on Karrion Kross in a brutal No Disqualification Match. The two men brawled all over the Capitol Wrestling Center, battering each other as much as they can. Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza would come to the aid of their leader by interjecting themselves into the match. The bout was basically a handicap match throughout. However, it proved not to be a problem for the Harbinger of Doom. Kross dispatched the “Emperor of Lucha Libre” in a devastating fashion. It was a rough night for the group and they just might be in a fighting mood come Friday night.
– Isaiah “Swerve” Scott may have gone too far this time. With a scheduled bout between Tyler Rust and Leon Ruff, Swerve would pummel Ruff out of nowhere before the match even began. This attack provided Ruff the chance to prove his abilities once again because the match never officially went underway. Rust, with Malcolm Bivens, triumphantly smirked as if it was the result they were expecting, regardless of what transpired. Will Ruff get his revenge on Swerve or will Scott keep on keeping on?

– Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese proved last week why you don’t mess with the originals. Daivari & August Grey were having quite a contest this past week when a momentary lapse of judgment caused Grey the contest against “The Persian Prince.” It was a terrible night for August. He was attacked by Daivari and Nese earlier, setting up the match. This encounter showed why one shouldn’t mess with the OGs. Will Grey bounce back or will Nese & Daivari continue to put the whole roster on notice?
– BollyRise has been a failed experiment so far. The mix and match of the two tag teams have not exactly been a recipe for success. Over the past month, these two have regrouped time and time again to no avail. They lost an 8-man tag team match against Mansoor, Ashante “Thee” Adonis, Jake Atlas, and Curt Stallion. Fans were expecting a lot more from the quartet. Nonetheless, The Bollywood Boyz and EverRise failed to win once again. Is it time for the truce to come to an end or will their bond keep them together? Find out on WWE 205 Live!
