WWE NXT is coming off a massive NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day that saw champions retain, friends show their true colors, and tag teams were etched in history. While there is only one match as of this writing, here’s what to expect on tonight’s edition of WWE NXT on USA Network.

The system was shocked on Sunday night when Adam Cole took the thunder, superkicking both NXT Champion Finn Balor and Undisputed Era teammate Kyle O’Reilly to end the show. The question is now simple: Is this it for the greatest faction in NXT history? We should find out tonight as one would figure Cole will not be quiet. This is going to be very telling. Should Undisputed ERA be headed for a break, it seems likely Cole and his former teammate will feud in one form or the other. And it wouldn’t be the first time as these two have known each other for 11 years and have been enemies for nearly half that time.
Karrion Kross Faces NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar
Last week, it was made official that former NXT Champion Karrion Kross would faceoff with NXT Cruiserweight Champion, Santos Escobar. A massive match indeed as these two have been nearly unbeatable in their short NXT careers to this point. One of them will have to give in this massive match of NXT’s two top talents.

Io Shirai walked out of her Triple Threat match at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day against Mercedes Martinez and Toni Storm still holding the NXT Women’s Championship. Her star continues to rise as her dominance is nearly unmatched. The question is now simple: Who’s next? One would suspect Raquel Gonzalez, who has pinned Shirai in the past as well as defeated Rhea Ripley and won the first-ever women’s Dusty Classic alongside her partner. If it’s not her, then Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon could be in consideration as well.

Both the teams of Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez as well as MSK will get their chance to fight for tag team gold after winning their respective Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classics on Sunday night. Will both teams be chomping at the bit to take this opportunity? Or will they wait their time and get their shots later on? We should see tonight.
