It’s the end of an era for Georgia’s ACTION Wrestling, as the 798-day reign of AC Mack as the ACTION Champion – a title he’d held for the entirety of the championship’s existence – came to a crashing halt on Friday, February 12 during the second show of a doubleheader night, All Eyes On The Throne, when AC Mack was defeated by Arik Royal to become the new ACTION Champion. AC Mack had been one of the longest-reigning champions in the US indies in recent memory, but now Arik Royal has ended Mack’s reign and ready to dawn a new era in ACTION Wrestling.
This is your @WrestleACTION1 Heavyweight Champion wishing everyone a Happy Valentine's Day.

AC Mack won the inaugural ACTION Championship back on December 7, 2018, at ACTION’s fifth show, Watch For Monsters, when he defeated Alan Angels (Dark Order’s 5 in AEW), Ike Cross, and Slim J in a four-way tournament final to crown the first Champion, and went on to defend his title against the likes of Fred Yehi, Curt Stallion, Alan Angels, Brett Ison, Kevin Ku, Tre Lamar, and Joey Lynch during his monstrous run as ACTION Champion. He had previously faced Arik Royal this past December at Bangers Only, but Royal’s win by DQ only kept the belt around Mack’s waist. Mack wasn’t so lucky on Friday (read the full show review over at South Atlanta Wrestling Dot Com).
For Arik Royal, it’s the culmination of a 15-year journey on the US independent scene, who is best known for an extensive career with Carolina Wrestling Federation (CWF) Mid-Atlantic, where he’s a 3x CWF Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion (including his own monstrous reign of 560-days from 2012 through 2014). He made his ACTION debut in 2018 and has also competed for the likes of Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), Black Label Pro, Beyond Wrestling, and others, as one of the toughest men in the US indies today.
