After a red hot special edition of AEW Dynamite last week, the AEW hopefuls could not be more excited for this week’s show. Beach Break might have marked a new era not only for All Elite Wrestling but the future of professional wrestling as a whole. Fans saw a certain “role model” come out victorious and a murderous monster get his revenge. A special band of brothers disintegrated from the inside out. An international women’s tournament will kick off tonight. Above all else, a certain “door” may finally be unlocked.
This week, fans will be in for a treat. A title match is scheduled between two competitors who share a violent history from their time in the independent circuit. A generous offering of tag team action is set, too. Furthermore, we will see the AEW in-ring debut of a Japanese wrestling legend. The fallout from these events cannot be contained any longer. This upcoming AEW Dynamite might be one of the most important shows in the promotion’s short history. Buckle up, it’s Wednesday night and fans are in for a wild ride. Let’s run it down:

Inner Turmoil Within The Inner Circle
The cocky duo of Max Caster and Anthony Bowens, collectively known as The Acclaimed, will be in action this week. They will face off against the winners of the Beach Break tag team battle royal and number one contenders for the AEW Tag Team Titles, Chris Jericho and MJF. The Acclaimed should be on the top of their game, especially Max Caster. It’s safe to assume MJF has not forgotten his unceremonious elimination in the hands of Caster.
Speaking of the battle royal last week, we saw Chris Jericho come out victorious for MJF and The Inner Circle. The win guarantees Jericho and MJF a shot at The Young Bucks‘ AEW World Tag Team Championship at AEW Revolution. The battle royal was not without controversy. The cracks in The Inner Circle are becoming more apparent with each passing day; the events of last week did not help.
The heat between Sammy Guevara and MJF is palpable, to say the least. Guevara was the unintentional sacrificial lamb for Jericho to secure the match for himself and MJF. Guevara was hanging by the skin of his teeth fighting off Darius Martin of Top Flight. Jericho saw the opportunity and he took it, eliminating Guevara in the process. Could this be the final straw for Guevara? Is the group about to implode sooner rather than later?
Sting Speaks on AEW Dynamite
On the road to AEW Revolution, and ahead of the confrontation between him and Darby Allin against Team Taz, Sting will give Tony Schiavone the honor to speak with him once again. What is on the Stinger’s mind? Will the legendary figure put Brian Cage and Ricky Starks on notice? Is there something else that Sting has been pondering that he needs to speak about on AEW Dynamite?
The #AEW women's world championship eliminator tournament kicks off as your first-round match sees @LegitLeyla take on @thunderrosa22. Who will advance to the next round?

The Women’s Eliminator Tournament Begins on AEW Dynamite
The AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Tournament to crown the number one contender for Hikaru Shida‘s AEW Women’s Championship kicks off in the west. Legit Leyla Hirsch will meet Thunder Rosa in the first round of the tourney. The tournament will feature two distinct brackets: one from the United States and one from Japan. Each bracket will have one woman victorious. The two women that will come out of each bracket will fight it out in the finals to see who gets to fight Shida and a guaranteed shot at the gold.
After the events of AEW Dynamite last week, “La Mera Mera” Thunder Rosa is not in a good mood due to her loss against rival Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. last week on Beach Break and will definitely come out swinging. On the other hand, Legit Leyla Hirsch has nothing to lose and everything to gain. Knocking out a high-profile competitor like Thunder Rosa this early in the tournament will definitely help Hirsch’s stock and her place on the AEW top rankings. Will “La Mera Mera” channel her frustration and quickly dispatch her competitor or will Leyla Hirsch prove why she calls herself “Legit”?
This Wednesday night, the TNT Championship is on the line as the challenger @JANELABABY steps up to the champion @DarbyAllin

Darby Allin Puts the TNT Title On the Line Against a Very “Bad Boy”
As announced by Tony Schiavone last week, Darby Allin will put his TNT Championship on the line against Joey Janela. The two have known each other for years and have gone through war against one another in the past. This week’s affair will not be any different. Expect these two to batter each other into oblivion as one will fight to the death to hold on to his title as the other tries to claim the crowning achievement of a lifetime.
Team Taz made it known they will be in attendance for the match. Taz claims that his band of monsters will be in “full effect” closely monitoring the contest. With that being said, Darby will not be alone. “The Icon” Sting will be present to back him up. Sting stated that he will make sure the match will go off without a hitch promising a one-on-one matchup between Janela and Darby. Is “The Bad Boy” poised to capture his first taste of gold in AEW or will Darby once again overcome the odds and remain champion?
The road to AEW Revolution starts tonight. Brian Cage, Ricky Starks, and the rest of Team Taz are just looking for any advantage against Darby and Sting ahead of their Street Fight at the big event. Tensions are high and they are about to get higher on AEW Dynamite.

The “Forbidden Door” Brutally Kicked Down
At the conclusion of Beach Break‘s main event between Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers vs. Jon Moxley, PAC, and Rey Fenix, a certain NJPW megastar made his presence know in the biggest way possible. KENTA made his All Elite Wrestling debut hitting the Go2Sleep on Mox. This has been building for months between the two because KENTA feels Moxley has been ducking him and depriving him of his rightful opportunity at the IWGP United States Championship. The Japanese superstar also returned the favor when Moxley showed up on NJPW Strong to everyone’s surprise and laid him out. Turnabout is fair play, as they say.
Omega and The Good Brothers might just be reveling in the fact that another person is gunning after Moxley’s head. Unfortunately, for Jon Moxley, it’s not just any man. It’s one of the most devastating and destructive forces eastern wrestling fans have ever seen. Enlisting the help of the mastodon Lance Archer, for the second straight week, Mox is in for the fight of his life. Fans know Moxley is up for any and every challenge and there’s no doubt he will bring his s-game. AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and KENTA will face Jon Moxley and Lance Archer in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. Do not expect anything less than an all-out brawl between these two teams. Don’t blink or you just might miss the carnage on AEW Dynamite.
