Mexican wrestling sensation Black Taurus has made his presence known in IMPACT Wrestling, making himself the first AAA wrestler to appear for IMPACT since the beginning of the pandemic.
On this week’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV, XXXL called out Decay members Rosemary and Crazzy Steve, stating that they now have a tag team partner who would be willing to fight Rosemary. Tenille Dashwood stood in the ring with the oversized duo, confirming that Decay was outnumbered. Larry D has an understandable gripe with Rosemary, having been framed for attempted murder by Rosemary and her former partner Taya Valkyrie.
Decay came out and informed the trio (and Kaleb with a K) that a new addition had been named to their ranks. This signaled the surprise re-debut of Black Taurus, who has not been seen in IMPACT Wrestling since January of last year, having lost a series of matches against Rhino and Moose. He took down XXXL and Kaleb with a K in impressive fashion. This potentially sets up a three-person tag for some time in the future.

Black Taurus is most famous for his matches in AAA, the biggest and most popular wrestling promotion in Mexico. AAA is a partner with IMPACT Wrestling, which has allowed names like Black Taurus and the Lucha Brothers (who are now signed with AEW) to make appearances for the US-based company in the past. He also recently appeared in promotions like wXw, PWG, MLW, and TNT Wrestling.
It will be interesting to see if this will be another brief run for Black Taurus, or if he has indeed signed something long-term with the company. Either way, he is sure to be a major asset for the company in any compacity. Stay tuned with Last Word on Pro Wrestling for more updates.
