The Kurt Johansson Show is an interview series that sees host Kurt Johansson talk to professional wrestlers from all over the world including France, Denmark, China, Singapore, the UK, the US, and many more. In this edition, Johansson is joined by the founder of pro-wrestling in Norway, Erik Isaksen to discuss his 25-year career.
They talk about how Isaksen started his career in England for Brian Dixon’s All Star Wrestling and the experiences he has working for one of the biggest companies in Europe.
They discuss Isaksen heading back to Norway to build the wrestling scene there, being a founder of Norges Wrestling forbund (Norwegian Wrestling Federation) and Norsk Elite Wrestling (Norwegian Elite Wrestling).
Isaksen then talks about his return to the British Wrestling scene whilst wrestling for the WAW, which is owned by the Knight Family as seen in Fighting with my Family, the film based on WWE’s Paige‘s life.
They discuss the Norwegian wrestling scene in-depth, some of the names to help build the scene and the ones to watch moving forward, and what Norwegian wrestling is all about.
Erik Isaksen talks about wrestling all over Scandinavia and the rest of Europe proving he is truly one of the most traveled wrestlers in Europe.
