During the press conference for Ice Ribbons Korakuen Hall show on 1.23, Austrian wrestler Thekla revealed herself as being X. She’ll be teaming with Mochi Miyagi and Miku Aono to take on Tsukushi Haruka, Hamuko Hoshi, and Yappy.
Thekla spent 2020 in Japan working for Ice Ribbon and went back to her native country in September. Although Thekla had been posting on social media about her return, it was a nice surprise seeing her confirmed.
For fans that haven’t seen her before, she’s had great matches against Risa Sera, Suzu Suzuki, and Maya Yukihi in her previous run.
The majority of Thekla’s last run in Ice Ribbon saw her defend her WUW World Underground Wrestling Women’s Championship, although she briefly dropped the title to Cherry before reclaiming the title. Thekla was also unsuccessful in her block in the IW19 title tournament but she did earn the respect of Ice Ribbon fans thanks to her excellent technical wrestling skills.
