Thank You, Mr. Brodie Lee
The wrestling world has come together to mourn and tell stories of how Brodie helped them in times of need. If you were on Twitter at all this week, you saw multiple stories from Big E, Miro, Erick Rowan, Bray Wyatt, Cody Rhodes, etc. Brodie Lee always looked out for the young guys. He alleviated anxieties across multiple locker rooms. He never hesitated to be there for a friend. It’s despondent that he died at just 41 years old the day after Christmas.

Brodie Lee specifically asked to be a part of The Dark Order because he wanted to help the stable get over. As Luke Harper, he had underrated reigns with the Intercontinental Championship and Smackdown Tag Team Championship alongside Erick Rowan. He demolished Cody Rhodes to become TNT Champion together with losing it in an excellent Dog Collar Match. He dropped F-bombs constantly on BTE as he abused and got over his faction. Brodie never half-assed anything. He inspires how wrestlers should treat one another as well as being the nicest human being possible.
Throughout his career, whether as Brodie Lee or Luke Harper, Jon Huber had constant comparisons to Frank Goodish aka Bruiser Brody. With good reason, too, as Brodie Lee exhibited wild big man magic coupled with a threatening aura in the ring. He was a special athlete to behold for wrestling fans. It’s immensely heartbreaking and unfair that both men passed away in their early forties (Goodish was 42, Huber was 41). Lee had all the pieces to succeed. To say nothing of his work in 2020 where he was making an impact fitting of his caliber. Like Bruiser Brody beforehand, Lee could work with the best.
To the people using Brodie’s death not only for clickbait but also baseless speculation, I hope you get the consequences of your own actions. To his family, friends, and loved ones, my heart goes out to everyone who loved and cherished Jon Huber. The tales of Brodie helping out fellow wrestlers every chance he could showed a soul that always looked out for others.
This episode is a tribute and a celebration for “The Exalted One.” We pay tribute to him and his family tonight. Multiple Dark Order members team together with AEW’s best. I don’t know if I’m mentally prepared to watch this episode. I will watch knowing Brodie is smiling with a big heart as well as calling John Silver a little bitch. Seeing Silver in mini Brodie gear is hilarious not to mention tear-inducing.
Brodie Lee will leave behind a legacy inside the ring. However, the most important aspect of Jon Huber is his family. At any given moment, Mr. Brodie would talk about the love for his family. He was a fantastic father who let his son sleep with the TNT Title. There was a Dynamite segment after The Holiday Bash tapings in which Brodie Lee Jr. pinned Omega to win the world title. Mark my words, Brodie Jr. is a future AEW TNT Champion. It is equally important to remember Mr. Brodie as his sons’ hero as well as his life in the squared circle.
Thank you, Brodie Lee. We will never forget you.

Join The Dark Order
Lil’ Brodie’s three favorite wrestlers of 10, Orange Cassidy, and Cody Rhodes team to take on the renegade force of Team Taz. Preston Vance betrayed the Nightmare Factory in order to join Dark Order. How will these unique superstars work together as they face off against this dominant threat?
In addition, The Young Bucks team with “Boom Boom” Colt Cabana against rivals Private Party and newly heel Matt Hardy. Hangman Page will reunite with Silver & Reynolds against Inner Circle members MJF, Santana, and Ortiz. Lance Archer may be able to get his hands on his adversary as he teams with Uno & Grayson against Eddie Kingston, The Butcher, and The Blade. TayJay reunites to wrestle Dr. Britt Baker and Superbad Bride to be Penelope Ford. Finally, Chris Jericho joins commentary for the evening. Join us for a night to celebrate everything that is Brodie Lee.
