It’s Wednesday. You know what that means. On that very night, AEW dedicated their Dynamite to the late Brodie Lee, real name Jon Huber. From beginning to end, it was full of honoring “The Exalted One” and his family. Here are all the highlights from the incredible night.
TNT Championship Design Officially Retired, Given To Brodie Lee Jr.
It was announced at the end of the show by AEW owner Tony Khan that the current TNT Championship would be retired and Brodie Lee would be recognized as its greatest champion. He handed it to Lee’s son, Brodie Lee Jr., telling him that Brodie is the TNT Champion for life. It was revealed on the Tony Schiavone post-show that this current incarnation was indeed retired, and a newly designed championship is currently being made.

The Dark Order Goes Undefeated On The Night
The Dark Order competed all night long, being featured in all five matches on the card. And in doing so, they walked out all victorious. 10, Preston Vance, completed the night with the final pinfall in the Brodie Lee Jr. Dream Match over Ricky Starks to solidify the perfect night for The Dark Order.
Erick Red Beard & Brodie Lee Jr. Aid John Silver, Alex Reynolds, & Hangman Page As Erick Honors His Friend
In a shocking event, Erick Red Beard, the former Erick Rowan, appeared to help rid the returning Wardlow from the match that pitted Hangman Page, John Silver, and Alex Reynolds against The Inner Circle‘s MJF, Santana, and Ortiz. Lee’s former tag team partner hit Wardlow with an Iron Claw Slam and chased him to the back. When he returned to the ring, he held up a sign with tears in his eyes saying the following:
Goodbye for now my brother. “See you down the road.”
Brodie Lee Jr. also got in on the action, smashing MJF in the head with a Kendo Stick.
