Professional wrestling is weird at the best of times. When you throw Dramatic Dream Team (DDTPro) into the mix, things often get much weirder. ESPECIALLY when it comes to the infamous Ironman Heavymetalweight championship. DDT’s title, along with REW Pakistan 24/7 Championship, have been stuck in America in recent times. A number of AEW performers and staff have held the titles but now we have the strangest winner yet, the Young Bucks autobiography Young Bucks: Killing The Business from Backyards to the Big Leagues, the book pinned Britt Baker as she slept to win the championships.

The Young Bucks autobiography is the 1497th titleholder in the DDT title’s long history. It is also not the first inanimate object to win the belt. A ladder has previously held the Ironman title, in fact, the belt itself has won the belt in the past.
For any unaware of the saga Joey Janela won the title from Yoshihiko at a Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) event, meanwhile Sammy Guevara was the reigning REW Pakistan 24/7 Champion. Both men lost their titles via submission to Dean Malenko, yes DEAN MALENKO. The titles have since been held by a number of AEW talents including Orange Cassidy, Jungle Boy, Marko Stunt, and Britt Baker. Now that a book is the champion anything goes as far as who the next titleholder might be
