AEW Dynamite Shaq Speaks, Sting Interview

It certainly feels as though the balance of power has shifted in wrestling. When Tony Khan said he was conversing with some big-time players, no one knew just who or what AEW had up their sleeves. Last week scored the biggest victory for AEW Dynamite so far in the “Wednesday Night Wars.” “The Icon” Sting made his debut along with “The Cleaner” Kenny Omega defeating Jon Moxley to win the AEW World Championship. Not only that, now AEW and IMPACT Wrestling have developed a working agreement. To say AEW has the entire wrestling world talking is an understatement. Now that Winter is here, tonight’s Dynamite is packed to the brim. Shaq speaks, The Inner Circle will have a come-to-Jesus moment. “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes takes on Dark Order‘s “10”, FTR look to get back on the saddle against the newly christened Varsity Blondes. MJF will defend the Dynamite Diamond Ring against Orange Cassidy. Lance Archer and The Lucha Bros face Eddie Kingston and his mercenaries. Sting will speak for the first time in AEW. Abadon will destroy a poor soul in the ring. Finally, in a non-title match, the Young Bucks take on The Hybrid2.

Preview: AEW – Shaw Speaks, Sting Speaks, Inner Circle Gone Forever?

Sting Breaks His Silence

After Cody Rhodes, Dustin Rhodes, and Darby Allin were getting their butts whooped by Team Taz, “The Icon” showed up to a thunderous reaction. For the first time in nineteen years, Sting is back on TNT. After driving Taz and his cronies away, Sting came face to face with the four men in the ring. It has since been reported that Sting is signed full-time for the company. What will Sting have to say to his longtime friend?

SHAQ Addresses AEW

Shaq will appear on AEW Dynamite for an interview with Tony Schiavone. Last month, after losing the TNT Title, Cody Rhodes attempted to get a rematch with MJF. However, Jade Cargill made her Dynamite Debut to inform she would bringing Shaquille O’Neal to AEW. Now Shaq will speak for himself. With everything this legendary athlete has done on TNT, not to mention a few wrestling outings for WWE. Bringing him to AEW is honestly a no-brainer. How long until he and Cody square off in the ring?

Abadon In Action

“The Living Dead Girl” will be in action as she has her sights set on the AEW Women’s Title. After Hikaru Shida retained her title against Anna Jay of The Dark Order. Abadon came out to intimidate the champion. Hikaru claims Abadon is nothing more than cosplay, but her scared looks say otherwise. It was back in March of nightmare year that Abadon appeared on Dark and wrestled Shida for the first time. Shida won the bout however, it’s clear Abadon lives rent-free in the champ’s head.

The Inner Circle Ultimatum

Like NSYNC, Guns N Roses, and The Beatles, inevitably the band breaks up. The Inner Circle is on the verge of collapse after tensions sparked by MJF. During the match between Chris Jericho and Frankie Kazarian, MJF nearly threw the towel for Y2J. Sammy Guevara came to stop him and a brawl broke loose. “The Painmaker” decreed the Inner Circle Ultimatum to decide whether or not the group will stay together. MJF and Sammy have been at each other’s throats since Maxwell made his intentions known. Has MJF successfully Yoko Ono’d the Painmaker Posse?

MJF vs Orange Cassidy: AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring

As if this Dynamite didn’t have enough already. MJF must also defend his Dynamite Diamond Ring against “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy. Orange Cassidy has become a breakout star for AEW this year. Although he came up short attempting to win the TNT Title. He still owns two victories over Chris Jericho. How will MJF handle the most unique wrestler in the entire industry?

Dustin Rhodes vs “10”

It’s Nightmare Family vs Dark Order. Dustin Rhodes takes on Preston Vance. The last time we saw Dustin wrestle on Dynamite was with QT Marshall against The Butcher & The Blade in the Bunkhouse Match. Dustin has not forgiven The Dark Order’s previous dismantling of The Nightmare Family, including his brother. Though QT still has credit card debt to deal with. “The Natural” will look to reignite conflict with AEW’s beloved cult.

FTR vs The Varsity Blondes

FTR will compete for the first time since losing at All Out. Tonight they face off against Brian Pillman Jr and Griff Garrison, now known as The Varsity Blondes. FTR are pissed they lost the tag belts to The Young Bucks. After manipulating Hangman to turn against The Elite, The Young Bucks are now on top off the perch as the champs. FTR will not rest until they get back what is rightfully theirs.

Lance Archer & The Lucha Bros vs Eddie Kingston, The Butcher & The Blade

Lance Archer is on a mission, PAC is back, and The Lucha Bros are reunited. It’s safe to say Eddie Kingston has made a lot of enemies in only his first year for AEW. Now the Mad King will team with The Butcher & The Blade against Archer, Fenix, and Pental El Zero. Back at All Out, Archer “eliminated” Kingston to win the match. Eddie took issue with this and a blood feud has since begun. Meanwhile, Death Triangle is none too pleased with Kingston’s attempted disbanding of The Lucha Bros. His attempt to drive Penta away from his brother has failed. Now all these egos will collide and everything, well and truly, has gone mad.

The Young Bucks vs TH2

AEW World Tag Team Champions The Youngs Bucks take on the alliterative, adamant, and amoral aerial assassins in TheHybrid2. If TH2 wins this match, they will receive a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Titles. Jack Evans and Angelico are none too pleased, kayfabe wise, with their place in AEW. They have become obsessed with doing anything it takes to get to where they deserve to be. Meanwhile, as the new champs, The Young Bucks are getting new challengers by the minute. AEW’s ridiculously stacked tag division is on full display as the sky’s the limit.

We Will Hear from Kenny Omega & Don Callis on Dynamite

Tonight the new AEW World Champion will grace us with his arrogant prescience. With his appearance on IMPACT last night seen above. Kenny and Don, aka future Team Canada hopefully, will now have to contend with an immensely tense appearance. “The Cleaner” himself has promised a big announcement for AEW Dynamite.
