Triple H WWE

On this edition of Card Subject To Change, we go over a few news and notes from the NXT TakeOver: WarGames post-show media call with Triple H. We will also go over several new rumors regarding several current WWE talents, rumored returns, and more.

NXT TAKEOVER: WARGAMES NEWS AND NOTES:

INJURIES:

Oney Lorcan: Lacerations to the face.

Candice LeRae: Arm (maybe broken arm or wrist) believed to be off a senton bomb from Shotzi off the ladder. (X-ray being taken at the moment).

Timothy Thatcher: Ear.

Bobby Fish: Possible Knee injury and laceration on the elbow.

NEWS:

Undertaker and working at the PC:

The Undertaker is looking at becoming a trainer with NXT and working at the PC. Triple H and Undertaker have talked about it in the last few days. More to come on that soon!

Regarding Trey Miguel not being signed:

Triple H did not want to talk about why he did not sign him but he said for those that are there in the latest class that it is about heart and passion. He says those are the people he wants there with WWE.

Next NXT Special:

The next NXT Special show is on 1/6/2021 and is called New Years Evil.

Regarding the Royal Rumble and NXT involvement:

Triple H says there are talks about it but he’s a big fan of separation as well. Nothing has been finalized yet for the Royal Rumble regarding any NXT involvement.

OTHER NOTE FROM THE MEDIA CALL:

Triple H states that everyone on the show “got over”.

RUMORS:

Sting:

A new rumor has that Sting felt not just mistreated by WWE but as though it was more of the mindset of him being a “WCW guy” still and as previously reported, ran ideas by Vince McMahon but was denied. It does appear as though Sting will have matches with AEW and transition into a coaching position.

Tessa Blanchard:

Reports have that Tessa has yet signed with any major promotion, however, possible plans for her if she were to sign with WWE have her moving up to the main roster and skipping the NXT system similar to when AJ Styles debuted. If AEW were to sign her, rumors that circulated some time ago were of her to be a part of a new Four Horsemen faction.

Roman Reigns and The Rock at WrestleMania 37

While many reports have The Rock facing Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 37, it appears that those plans are less likely to happen due to the pandemic and Rock’s Hollywood obligations.

RUMORED RETURNS

Ronda Rousey:

A Ronda Rousey return is imminent with Rousey possibly returning to the Raw brand and returning at the 2021 Royal Rumble. Ronda is likely to win the title fairly quickly after returning.

Brock Lesnar:

Brock Lesnar also looks to be returning during Wrestlemania season. There is no word on which brand he may be returning to but if he were to return to Raw it would be to work off the program he had with Drew McIntyre or if Brock goes to SmackDown Live, it would be to work with Roman Reigns.

Goldberg:

Goldberg, who is still under contract with WWE. is being planned for a Saudi Arabia show possibly against the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns.

Other returns are:

  • Charlotte Flair
  • Becky Lynch (WrestleMania season to work with Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 37)
  • Eva Marie
  • Bo Dallas (new member of the Wyatt Family)
