Generation Championship Wrestling (GCW) held the Diamond Cup to crown a new women’s champion after KiLynn King vacated the title. The tournament featured some of the top names in women’s independent wrestling. Queen Aminata emerged victorious to win the tournament and become the new GCW Women’s Champion.
Aminata is no stranger to GCW as the company recently hosted a match between her and Trish Adora for the Pan-Afrikan World Diaspora Wrestling Championship that was won by Adora.

It speaks to Aminata’s talent that on a show with names like Shaul Guerrero and Deonna Purrazzo she emerged as the champion and winner of the Diamond Cup. Fans in attendance have been quick to praise Aminata’s performance after she defeated Skye Blue in the final.
Queen Aminata spent time in Japan training with Marvelous and the legendary Chigusa Nagayo which she has put into work since returning to the US as she has emerged as one of the top prospects in the scene. This GCW Women’s Championship win is just one of what will be many championships in Aminata’s future
