WWE Announces Newest Class Of Recruits

WWE PC Recruits

WWE has taken in a new class of recruits from the world of independent wrestling as well as their own scouting endeavors.  This class sees a number of high profile indie stars join the Performance Centre including Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) star Alex Zayne.  Let’s take a look at the names who joined.

Deveon Everheart Aiken (f.k.a Dezmond Xavier)

Fresh off his run in IMPACT Wrestling Dezmond Xavier has signed with the WWE.  As part of The Rascalz tag team he won tag team titles all over the independent scene including holding the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) tag team championships for over 900 days.

Zachary Green (f.k.a. Zachary Wentz)

The other member of The Rascalz the former Zachary Wentz went everywhere with Xavier.  He has MMA experience and incorporated some strikes into his high flying style.  He has acted as a trainer for most of 2020 at the Believe Wrestling academy.

Alex Brandenburg (f.k.a Alex Zayne)

Not long ago Zayne became an overnight sensation after a GCW backyarder show for his insane, death-defying moves.  In no time at all the 15-year veteran became one of the most in-demand names in all of the US independent scene where he continued to dazzle fans with his insane displays of athleticism

Sojiru “Ikemen” Higuchi (f.k.a Jiro Kuroshio)

Kuroshio is a very charismatic performer whose home for some time was the now-defunct Wrestle-1 promotion.  He has performed all over Japan winning a number of championships in his almost nine year career.

Anriel Howard

Howard does not come from the world of wrestling, she is a former basketball player.  She was drafted to the WNBA just last season by the Seattle Storm.  At just 23 years of age she has time to adjust to life in the squared circle for the WWE

Russ Taylor (f.k.a Rust Taylor)

Taylor has been wrestling since 2004 and in that time has wrestled for a number of major promotions all over the world.  Most recently he had a stint on NJPW Strong, and competed in the Ring Of Honor Pure Championship tournament.  He also spent time in WWE affiliate Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw).
