Indianapolis-based promotion Upstart Pro Wrestling makes its long-awaited return on Saturday, November 14th, with their Staycation event.
Taking place in the beautiful town of Fortville, IN, a 30-minute drive northeast of the state capital, Upstart Pro have bagged two of indie wrestling’s biggest rising stars and will pit them against each other as Warhorse takes on Brayden Lee.
The stock of Warhorse is higher than ever after his recent appearance on AEW Dynamite, while Brayden Lee has been attracting the attention of wrestle watchers around the world with his incredible feats of athleticism. Upstart Pro has engineered a dream match before anybody else has had the chance to think about it.
Valerie Verman defends the Upstart Pro Women’s Championship she has held since February when she clashes with the debuting Arie Alexander. Meanwhile, the newly-minted Upstart Pro Championship will see its first holder on November 14th, as a six-man championship scramble will take place.
Aaron Atlas, Eric Dillinger, Colt Storm, Sam Thompson, Anthony Lee and MMA legend Nick Brashear are all geared up to take the gold in what promises to be a frantic and scintillating match.
Local heroes TJ Kemp and ‘Midwest Mutt’ Shawn Kemp will also be at Staycation. The hometown father and son duo will be desperate to give their adoring public something to cheer about, and it remains to be seen what they have planned.
The show will be hosted by ‘The Liverpool Lip’ Earl Joseph, one of Indiana’s most popular ring announcers and wrestling entertainers.
Upstart Pro has a lot more up its sleeve for Staycation, but so far its comeback show promises to be its best yet. Tickets are limited to 75 and MUST be bought online. Staycation will be held in accordance with all recommended social distancing and hygiene regulations. The wearing of face masks is compulsory.
