Glory Pro Wrestling comes to The Collective with the timely show name of Are Ya Wrestling, Son? for any unaware this name is a play on the viral Are Ya Winning Son? meme that has been all over twitter in recent times. If the name alone wasn’t enough to win you over for the show then the lineup will as Aj Gray takes on ACH in a major dream match.
Sisters Of Destruction (Elayna Black & Blair Onyx) vs Hyan & Laynie Luck
We have women’s action from Glory Pro as the Sisters Of Destruction take on Hyan and Laynie Luck. Hyan has been making her name in Texas and become a hyped name in the indie scene. The Sisters Of Destruction are two women that are making their names but are becoming more regular faces for some of the top indies in the world. Laynie Luck is someone who has crossed paths with Black a number of times across multiple promotions and now meets her in this tag team contest on the big stage of The Collective
Bullrope Match – Jake Something vs 1 Called Manders
These two competitors are going to beat each other up in this bullrope match. This match will harken back to the olden days when beefy dudes beat each other up so if you’re a fan of meat slapping meat then this is the match for you.
Mike Outlaw vs Lee Moriarty
Lee Moriarty has been a breakout star of 2020 and is heading into The Collective with a wave of momentum. He has the chance to take on a man that is making his name in Glory Pro and the surrounding area in Mike Outlaw. Outlaw has won championships in some smaller companies but has yet to win gold in a place like Glory Pro. With a great showing here against one of the top names on the indies Outlaw could eke out a spot for himself at the top of the indies.
Devon Monroe vs Stephen Wolf vs Jody Threat vs Kody Lane
This intergender four-way match is a showcase of indie talent, all of whom are rising stars. Jody Threat is a name that many in Canada will know but she has also wrestled in Europe and despite only debuting in 2017 has shown a lot of promise to be a top name on the indies. Wolf is a talent who has wrestled for a number of the top indies including EVOLVE Wrestling and AAWPro. He has the skillset to perform on the biggest stages but he has yet to become a star. Lane has spent time in Canada wrestling for Anarchy Championship Wrestling and has been wrestling all around the US in some top companies. At 21 years old Devon Monroe has already made himself into a name that many fans will recognize, he recently performed on the Black Wrestlers Matter show, and has some eye catching matches lined up for The Collective. One thing is clear, this match is showcasing the future of indie wrestling and any fan should go out of their way to see it.
The North (Ethan Page & Josh Alexander) vs Blake Christian & Alex Zayne
The North are a united front and are the longest-reigning IMPACT tag team champions of all time. They are a very powerful duo who are a well-oiled machine. Their opponents are quite different, the two have been long time rivals on the indies thanks to their spectacular chemistry but due to their similar death-defying, high flying style they have often been paired up as a team but mostly spend time as singles performers. Given their experience teaming together, The North would get the edge from us but you can never write off Zayne and Christian.
United Glory Championships – Topflight (Air Wolf & Angel Dorado) vs Gaytanic Panic (EFFY & Danhausen) vs Dan The Dad & Allie Kat
The vacant United Glory Championships find a new home in this hectic three-way tag team match. Top Flight are one of the top up and coming teams on the indies and will be carrying tag team wrestling on the indies for some time to come. Gaytanic Panic have teamed up in a number of the top indies and their talent collectively is just as good as they are individually. The scrappy Allie Kat teams with Dan The Dad in a team that could always pull out the win.
Independent Wrestling Championship – WARHORSE (C) vs Zachary Wentz
WARHORSE is on a quest for 69 defenses of his Independent Wrestling Championship, he is currently into the 40s we believe. But he faces a tough test against Zachary Wentz if he wants to continue his quest. Wentz is mostly known for his team with Dezmond Xavier and Trey Miguel but is a good singles performer when the time comes to wrestle alone.
Midwest Territory Championship – Hakim Zane (C) W/ Karam vs Kylie Rae
Kylie Rae looks to add more gold to her growing collection as she takes on Hakim Zane. Both competitors have made a name of themselves in Chicago based indies with Rae flourishing in Freelance Wrestling while Zane has had success in AAWPro. The two will now collide for Zane’s Midwest Territory Championships in a match hat Chicago indie fans must be dying to see

— Aj Gray (@RichHomieJuice) September 18, 2020
Power meets speed in this clash. ACH has been around the world and back again proving he is one of the best junior heavyweights to ever come out of America. Specifically, in Japan he has always found a way to endear himself to fans and put on good matches. Gray is a very different kind of wrestler, he’ll take your head off before he’d dare do a flip and he’s more than powerful enough to do it. Matches like this always throw up an interesting dynamic but add in the veteran ACH taking on the less experienced Gray and you have a whole other layer to this contest.
This show will air on Fite TV
