Earlier today at a Sendai Girls show the tag team titles were defended as Hiroyo Matsumoto and DASH Chisako defended their championships against Team 200KG (Yuu & Chihiro Hashimoto). Team 200KG emerged victorious and are your new Senda Girls tag team champions.

Chisako and Matsumoto won the titles just over a year ago from the Medusa Complex (Charli Evans & Millie McKenzie) but only made one defence of the championships in that time, which came against Team 200KG. At the second time of asking Yuu and Hashimoto have dethroned the duo known as the Reiwa Ultimate Powers.
Hashimoto becomes a double champion once again and continues her utter dominance of the title picture in Sendai Girls. Hashimoto has already spent a combined 1100+ days as world champion and is approaching 300 combined days as tag team champion after just one previous reign. For Yuu this is her first time holding a non 24/7 style championship since her run as Princess Of Princess Champion in 2017.
There are no clear challengers for Team 200KG as of now as the Sendai Girls tag team division is mainly just our new champions, the former champions, and the Medusa Complex who can’t get into Japan. With Sendai Girls a part of ASSEMBLE hopefully we see the introduction of new tag teams to the company. We could also see Aimanji (Manami Katsu & Mari Manji) come to Sendai Girls after they leave PURE-J
