Following initial reports from Fightful Royce Isaacs has confirmed that he asked for and was granted his release from the NWA. Isaacs is a former NWA World Tag Team Champion alongside Thomas Latimer and had been featured as part of the leading heel stable in the company alongside Nick Aldis.
Now that its public;
After a little over a year with the NWA I asked for and was granted my release.
I'm excited for my next adventure and what the future holds, but I'm leaving with a lot of memories and friends and I will miss the awesome fans at GPB Studios.
Stay tuned. https://t.co/mUNqTFVpfa— Royce Isaacs • ロイスアイザックス (@RoyceIsaacs) September 24, 2020
Even before joining the NWA Isaacs was a tag team star in companies like DEFY Wrestling and FSW Vegas as part of One Percent with Jorel Nelson. Isaacs also completed a tour of Japan a few years ago with DDT Pro and has competed all around the US for a variety of independent wrestling companies.
With this release, the NWA roster continues to lose talent after both Eddie Kingston and Ricky Starks joined All Elite Wrestling. The tag team division especially takes a hit as both Kingston and Isaacs were part of high profile tag teams.
