Charlotte Flair has been out of action in recent times due to her taking time off to recover. During an appearance on The Wrestling Inc. Daily podcast Ric Flair claimed that his daughter would likely be out of action for a year.
“So she’ll be fine just has to be patient and heal. The rotator cuffs, you got to let those heal. You gotta let the knees [heal], and I got to remind her sometimes like Seth was off for a year. She’s likely out for a year. It’s not the end. You’ll come back”
With Becky Lynch currently off television having a baby the loss of Charlotte Flair is a hit to the women’s division as these women have been the division’s biggest stars in some time and both were involved in the first ever women’s main event of WrestleMania.
This has allowed names like Asuka, Shayna Baszler, Sasha Banks and Bayley to step into the spotlight and carry the division in the absence of its two biggest stars. Flair, while talented, has arguably been overexposed in her time on the main roster so the break will not only allow her to heal and come back better but it will allow her to freshen up her act.
