Roman Reigns And Paul Heyman Reveal Partnership On SmackDown

Roman Reigns Paul Heyman

“That’s not a prediction, it’s a spoiler,” said Roman Reigns at the end of SmackDown. Words that carry prominence with the one and only Paul Heyman. And soon enough, Reigns turned his head to the left where Heyman was revealed to be the new advocate of Reigns. A shocking partnership that is certain to create a lot of buzz in WWE.

The stunning development closed out SmackDown on Friday night as Reigns declined to sign the contract for the Universal Championship match at Payback. He promised he would be there and “Wreck Everything.” This partnership could be the next great one in WWE and seems to solidify Reigns’ turn as SmackDown’s top heel.

The Reigns-Heyman relationship is Heyman’s first new addition in years, with the most successful non-Brock Lesnar partnership being the one with CM Punk when Punk was the WWE Champion. Something tells us there is a chance this one could do that one better and then some.

Reigns have never needed a talking piece necessarily, as he has figured out his promo work the past few years, but having Heyman only enhances his character. “The Big Dog” is on a mission to win his Universal Championship back and this seems to be the move he believed he needed to get that title back.

Be sure to tune into Payback this Sunday as Roman Reigns will have his first match since returning against Braun Strowman and “The Fiend.”
