NXT is preparing for yet another special event as the NXT TakeOver: XXX show will air this Saturday night. But before that, the final NXT will air from Full Sail University with plenty of TakeOver implications on the line. Here’s the preview:
Adam Cole & Pat McAfee Meet Face-To-Face

Adam Cole‘s first TakeOver match since losing his NXT Championship will not include gold at all, but instead, he will face off with former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee. After getting punted and seemingly being knocked out two weeks ago, Cole will have a face-to-face with McAfee ahead of their interesting match up.
Finn Balor vs. Velveteen Dream To Qualify For NXT North American Championship Ladder Match
A first-time-ever match is set for NXT this week as “The Prince” Finn Balor will faceoff against the freshly returned Velveteen Dream. This is a big one considering the stakes, as one man will be left off of TakeOver while the other earns a shot at the NXT North American Championship. It’s a must-win situation for Balor.
Johnny Gargano vs. Ridge Holland To Qualify For NXT North American Championship Ladder Match
Johnny Gargano has been on a mission to prove his way is the right way. Wednesday night, he will face off with the powerhouse, Ridge Holland. This is an interesting first-time match that could shock some in terms of quality wrestling. Expect Gargano to win, but keep your eye on Holland to pull the upset over the former NXT Champion.

Breezango has had a problem with Legado del Fantasma for a number of weeks now. This week on NXT, they will have a fair shot as Isaiah “Swerve” Scott aligns with them to help out. Scott has handed Santos Escobar his only defeat to this point, so an NXT Cruiserweight Championship match could be in the works moving forward.

The team of Rhea Ripley and Shotzi Blackheart will attempt to get some payback against Mercedes Martinez and Aliyah. Martinez is the reason Ripley will not be going to NXT TakeOver to fight for the NXT Women’s Championship, so this is her first real shot at payback. Ripley and Shotzi form an interesting team who could be a force if kept together moving forward.
