Today’s edition dives into the upcoming 30-minute IronWoman match with the IMPACT Knockouts Championship as Deonna Purrazzo defends against Jordynne Grace
Jordynne Grace is looking to reclaim the Knockouts Championship in a rematch from Slammiversary against Deonna Purrazzo. Deonna issued the challenge for a 30-minute IronWoman match at Emergence and IMPACT management made it official. This match is history in the making for IMPACT Wrestling as it is the first-ever IronWoman match for the Knockouts Championship and it is scheduled for Night 2 of Emergence. The knockouts division has been one of the highlights of IMPACT during the COVID era and they will once again have the opportunity to showcase their talent.
Deonna has come off as a total star since arriving in IMPACT in June, from the video packages to the entrance everything is perfect. Jordynne’s reign as Knockouts Champion was tainted by COVID so it never really got off the ground. The Knockouts Championship around the waist of Deonna is going to do more good for IMPACT in the long run. Jordynne will get another chance to become Knockouts Champion down the line but right now is the time of the Virtuosa. The Knockouts division has been around since 2007, and Deonnna Purrazzo vs Jordynnne Grace will be the first IronWoman match for the Knockouts Championship on August 25th in the main event of Emergence.
Emergence will be a special night for IMPACT Wrestling on August 25th as the world gets to see the Slammiversary rematch. Everyone praised their match from Slammiversary, and their rematch is bound to be outstanding. Whoever walks out as Knockouts Champion on August 25th will have their work cut out for them as their next obstacle is Kylie Rae. Kylie has been on a roll since winning the Number 1 Contender’s Knockouts Gauntlet at Slammiversary despite currently being stuck at the Wrestle House.
