WWE NXT returns this Wednesday after another solid episode last week. The Keith Lee era of NXT is limitless and has plenty of star power to keep the brand fresh and interesting going forward. During the COVID-19 era where there’s not as much talent to work with – and even less fans to work with – anything which can freshen the show up is appreciated. What does NXT have in store this week? Dexter Lumis vs Killian Dain
Before COVID-19 took the world by storm, Killian Dain was actually on a five match winning streak in NXT. When he returned to WWE NXT in June (after a three month absence), he lost against Damian Priest. Well, this week he gets a chance to get back to winning form, by beating Dexter Lumis. Lumis is by far one of the more interesting acts on NXT television currently and if there was anyone Dain would have liked to avoid, it’s him. This should be a solid big man match.
Dominik Dijakovic vs Karrion Kross w/Scarlett Bordeaux
Speaking of solid big man matches, here’s another. This week, NXT regular Dominik Dijakovic takes on NXT new boy, Karrion Kross. Kross – accompanied by Scarlett Bordeaux – is currently undefeated in WWE NXT. He has looked unstoppable; even vanquishing Tommaso Ciampa at NXT TakeOver: In Your House. Well now he’s got an opponent who can match his power and explosiveness. Dijakovic is a top-tier talent and is definitely someone who can stop Kross. Can he do it this week?
