Black Wrestlers Matter Show Coming Together

Black Wrestlers Matter

On August 22nd, 2020 the Black Wrestlers Matter movement is hosting a show in Iowa Black Wrestlers Matter – A Celebration Of Black Professional Wrestling with all proceeds going to Knowledge Is Power.  The show has a similar mindset to GCW’s canceled For The Culture show and Roy Johnson’s Everything Patterned in that it will showcase wrestlers of color.

There are multiple talents already announced for the show like Seishin, who most notably competes for Glory Pro Wrestling.  Viral sensation Faye Jackson is also set to compete as well as Devon Monroe who made appearances for RISE Wrestling in 2019. Also signed are the tag team Alpha Omega (Kenny Alfonso & Camaro Jackson) who have been teaming together since 2017. “Shogun” Chris Logan, Jon West, and “Queen Bee” Brooke Valentine are also announced while Adam Kennedy will manage the mayhem as the referee.

There are currently two matches announced for the Black Wrestlers Matter show as Jah-C takes on Major League Wrestling (MLW) star Air Wolf as well as a #ForTheCulture battle royal

The event will be streamed live as per the press release but details are as yet unknown.  Tickets can be purchased via Big Cartel
