Report: Drew Gulak Has Re-Signed With WWE For Multi-Year Deal

Drew Gulak

WWE and Drew Gulak fans were shocked to discover that Drew Gulak was removed from the SmackDown roster page on WWE’s official website and that he had left the company after his contract had reportedly expired. Over the past week, Gulak’s profile was returned to SmackDown’s roster quietly and both Mike Johnson of PWInsider and Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer have reported that Gulak has indeed signed a new multi-year deal with WWE, while Fightful‘s Sean Ross Sapp reported on Thursday on Fightful Select that Gulak returned to the company this past week where he took part in tapings for SmackDown.

Drew Gulak’s last televised appearance for WWE was on May 15 on SmackDown where he lost to his pupil, Daniel Bryan, in the opening round of the tournament to crown a new Intercontinental Champion following WWE’s decision to strip the title from Sami Zayn. Gulak’s contract expired at midnight that night. It would appear that the stumbling blocks that resulted in both sides not coming terms before it’s expiration have been resolved, and Gulak will remain a WWE Superstar for the foreseeable future.
