IWTV Announces Partnership With Meiko Satomura’s Sendai Girls

Sendai Girls

Independent Wrestling TV continues to add to its almost unrivaled lineup of professional wrestling content with the addition of Joshi promotion Sendai Girls which was founded by the legendary Meiko Satomura.

The promotion debuts on March 23rd at 10 pm EDT.  The show that will be streamed is Big Show In Niigata, the promotions 10th-anniversary event, which was main evented by a cross-promotional clash as Meiko Satomura took on Stardom’s Io Shirai!

Elsewhere on the card AEW Women’s Champion Nyla Rose features in a six-woman tag team match teaming with KAORU and fellow AEW talent Hikaru Shida against Mae Young Classic competitor Hiroyo Matsumoto, Joshi legend Shinobu Kandori and Takako Inoue.  Also on the card is a tag team match pitting Chihiro Hashimoto and DASH Chisako against Aja Kong and Rydeen Hagane in a match that is sure to be a hard-hitting affair and we have a very fun looking opener between Mika Iwata and Ayako Hamada.

For Sendai Girls this partnership could be a great opportunity to raise their international presence to match that of Stardom and Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling.  They certainly have the talent for it but following the failure of Sendai Global it appeared that they would be happy to focus on their Japanese audience rather than grow their international presence.
