Synopsis
This tournament is definitely stacked, with the return of Daisuke Sekimoto to the field, including the surprise of Rene Dupree and even Hideki Sekine who hasn’t been with Pro Wrestling NOAH yet. He’s primarily known for his MMA Work. In terms of matches to look out for, AXIZ (Go Shiozaki and Katsuhiko Nakajima) vs. Daisuke Sekimoto and Yoshiki Inamura can be a different type of brutal.
Most of the A Block has the potential to do really well. The Global Tag League was won last year from Takashi Sugiura and KAZMA SAKAMOTO. There’s a definite experience in many of the teams winning these tournaments in terms of singles competitors. Go, Nakajima, Takashi, Kenoh, Marufuji, and even Taniguchi have experience winning the trophy. Another thing to note that many of these tag teams are newer, especially considering this year’s tag team has two of the past teams. It should definitely be an interesting tournament for Pro Wrestling NOAH and it starts in April.
