DEFY Wrestling is back this Friday at the historic Washington Hall in Seattle with Kings of Crash. This event is featuring stars of the Tijuana-based The Crash Lucha Libre as well as the return of Jeff Cobb to DEFY. Black Danger will make his DEFY Wrestling debut and take on the Lucha Ghoul, Sonico. The current The Crash Tag Team Champions, La Rebelion Amarilla, will take on Ethan HD and Mike Santiago. Also the legendary luchador Damian 666 will team with DEFY’s own Guillermo Rosas to challenge for the DEFY Tag Team Championships. The Five Tool Player and current Battle Ground Pro Franchise Champion Anthony Bowens will also make his debut. He’ll be defending his title against Jet Knight. There’s tons more exciting action in store for this event, so let’s get to it.
King Khash vs. Judas Icarus vs. Eli Surge vs. Travis Williams
In what is sure to be an exciting barn burner four-way match, we have four of DEFY’s finest. King Khash just returned at Year 3 and lost in a spirited encounter with new WWE signee, Killer Kross. The Persian sensation will look to try and right the ship with a victory at Kings of Crash. Judas Icarus won the huge ten-man DEFY to Survive Elimination Match at Year 3 so is coming in with a ton of momentum.
Another combatant in this match is Eli Surge, who has tagged with Icarus on many occasions. This was under various names like The Uprising and across many promotions as well, including DEFY along with Without A Cause, Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling, and the Pure Wrestling Association. Surge has also teamed in the past with the Golden Boy, Travis Williams. Williams ate a slice of humble pie and it tasted like defeat at the hands of Sonico at Year 3. At Kings of Crash, only one man can walk away with the win.
Black Danger vs. Sonico
Black Danger is a member of the stable La Rebelion Amarilla and has been in wrestling for about six years. He’s a regular for The Crash, as well as other lucha libre promotions such as Promociones Martinez, IWRG, MexaWrestling, and AAA. Black Danger has also made a few appearances for MLW both as Black Danger and Mega Danger. Sonico has been on fire as of late, picking up wins and scoring major bookings like PROGRESS Wrestling’s Super Strong Style 16 and several WrestleMania Week appearances. This will be a lucha fest feast for the eyes at Kings of Crash.
Danika Della Rouge vs. Rebel Kel
Former friends, Danika Della Rouge and Rebel Kel trained together and run in similar promotions. Both were trained by the legendary Buddy Wayne and are highly competent in the ring. Their paths have diverged in places but always seem to lead them back together. Now as they wage war against each other in front of the Defyance, one queen will finally rise above the other.

Jeff Cobb vs. Cody Chhun
Classic Cody Chhun is on a personal journey. Chhun came up short in challenging Superstar Jake Atlas for the PCW ULTRA Light Heavyweight Championship at the Wrestle Summit II. His next test came at Age of War, where he defeated Travis Williams. At Year 3, Cody begged for another challenge to prove himself, which was answered by a returning Brody King. King was victorious but left Washington Hall with a new respect for Cody, Cody, Cody Fucking Chhun. Still seeking validation and a shot at the DEFY World Championship, Chhun has asked for a shot at a bigger star, the returning Jeff Cobb at Kings of Crash.

Jeff Cobb is quite literally on fire these days. The former Olympian has been making appearances for NJPW, ROH and most recently for AEW. After making a surprise return last month at Without A Cause and picking up a win over new IMPACT Wrestling star, Chris Bey, Cobb is after more. Like Chhun, Cobb would also like a shot at SCHAFF’s DEFY World Championship.
Battle Club Pro Franchise Championship Match
Anthony Bowens (c) vs. Jet Knight
The Five Tool Player Anthony Bowens makes his PNW debut for DEFY Wrestling at Kings of Crash. He’ll be defending the BCP Franchise Championship against too fly Jet Knight. When he’s not being hurtled by Braun Strowman and Elias on WWE television, Jet Knight has been blowing minds in DEFY and wherever else he pops up. Bowens is also the current WrestlePro Gold Champion, having unseated Matt Macintosh in December at I Hart Wrestling in Anchorage, Alaska. Excellence will be on display in this match-up for sure.
The Crash Lucha Libre Tag Team Championship Match
La Rebelion Amarilla (Mr. 450 & Bestia 666) (c) vs. Amerikan Gunz (Ethan HD & Mike Santiago)
In another first time match at the Kings of Crash, La Rebelion Amarilla members Mr. 450 and Bestia 666 will defend their The Crash Tag Team Championships. They will take on another very established team in the form of Ethan HD and Mike Santiago, the Amerikan Gunz. The Gunz came up short in the triple threat match at Year 3 for the DEFY Tag Team titles. Now they have another championship opportunity against a very different team. Mr. 450, also known as Mecha Wolf, and Bestia 666 are in their second reign with the titles. They recently debuted in Ireland for OTT Wrestling and the United Kingdom for Fight Club: PRO. Bestia has also worked for MLW as a singles star and as part of La Rebelion Amarilla. He’s also competed in DEFY before, whereas Mr. 450 is making his debut. Both of these luchadors are stockier in build so there should be plenty of brawling as well as flying in this match.
DEFY Tag Team Championship Match
4 Minutes of Heat (Eddie Pearl & Ricky Gibson) (c) vs. Guerillmo Rosas & Damian 666
4 Minutes of Heat came into DEFY hot and have only gotten hotter. After attacking the Amerikan Gunz at Wrestle Summit II, they debuted in the ring at Age of War. After winning a triple threat match there, they moved onto the championship triple threat against Warbeast and the Amerikan Gunz. Eddie Pearl and Ricky Gibson did what many deemed undoable: they dethroned the mighty Warbeast. Now in their first DEFY Tag Team Championship defense, they will look to continue their hot streak. Guerillmo Rosas will ride down that old town road til he can’t ride no more. And this time, he isn’t riding alone. He will team with the father of Bestia 666, the original demon Damian 666. Damian has been in wrestling for over 35 years and has held over a dozen championships. His wrestling heritage and pedigree is impeccable, but will he and Rosas gel enough to overcome the wave of momentum behind 4 Minutes of Heat? Find out at Kings of Crash!
DEFY World Championship Match
SCHAFF (c) vs. Randy Myers
Speaking of journeys, our Weirdo Hero is on one as well. After twenty years in the grappling game, he’s hoping that at last, his time has come along. Along with anything a sexy beast could want, like some new shoes or a new therapist, he wants a new belt. Well that belt is held by our “darling” Schaff. And that darling stood our Randy up! Won’t answer calls, won’t text back and leaves direct messages unread.

So clearly Randy is going to have to show the baddest motherfucker on the planet that ghosting is not cute. While Schaff may not care who he faces, friend or foe, there’s never another opponent quite like Randy Myers. These two have somehow never faced off in a singles match, but have been tag team partners in the past. Of course when Schaff turned his back on the Defyance and joined up with the Amerikan Gunz to form the Reavers, Randy was shocked like the rest of us. This hasn’t affected Schaff’s title defenses as he turned back a very determined Artemis Spencer in a ladder match at Year 3. At Kings of Crash, Schaff will at last dance with Randy Myers.
If you can’t make it out to the event in person, it will be available on Powerslam.TV and DEFY on Demand. This event is 21 and over only, and food and drinks will be available on site.
