Alpha-1 Wrestling Coming To IMPACT Plus

IMPACT Plus

As revealed at last night’s Deadly Encounter event, the Ontario-based Alpha-1 Wrestling promotion, headed up by current IMPACT Wrestling World Tag Team Champion Ethan Page, will now be shown on the IMPACT Plus app. Deadly Encounter will be the first show aired on the service, coming this month, alongside four additional Alpha-1 shows. The move makes them one of several promotions which airs shows on the streaming service, joining the likes of SMASH Wrestling and Border City Wrestling (BCW).

‘All Ego’ had the following to say on the matter;

“Getting the chance to air Alpha-1 Wrestling shows on IMPACT Plus is a great opportunity and a perfect way to further spotlight the talented in-ring performers”.

The promotion opened their doors in 2010, and have since grown to become one of the biggest independents in Canadian wrestling. With annual events such as Final Act and King of Hearts, the promotion boasts an immensely talented roster with such acts as the 2019 Wrestler of the Year and reigning Alpha Male Champion Mark Wheeler, 2019 Newcomer of the Year and current Zero Gravity Champion Dan The Dad, and several IMPACT regulars, including Trey and Ethan’s partner in The North, Josh Alexander.

Alpha-1’s next major event, This Is The Way, takes place on Sunday, March 22nd, and will air on IMPACT Plus in early April. Scheduled for that show are numerous IMPACT personalities, as Sami Callihan, Jake Crist, Josh Alexander, the current holder of the Call Your Shot trophy Eddie Edwards, Moose, and Trey all head to Ontario.
