New York’s Impact Championship Wrestling (ICW New York) has already announced some big matches for their No Holds Barred, Volume 3 event in Tampa, Florida during WrestleMania Week, including Tessa Blanchard vs. Amazing Red. On Wednesday night, they dropped a bombshell: Japanese icon Kenta Kobashi is heading to the event.

A 25-year veteran of the Japanese ring, Kenta Kobashi retired in 2013. The hard hitting icon is a former 3x All Japan Triple Crown Champion, 6x All Japan World Tag Team Champion, and 4x All Asia Tag Team Champion during his tenure with All Japan from 1988 to 2000. He spent the last 13 years of his career with Pro Wrestling NOAH, where he won the GHC Heavyweight title once.

Kenta Kobashi is going to be part of the show in a special guest capacity, appearing before the crowd and doing a Meet & Greet. He is not scheduled to wrestle. Tickets will be available for the Meet & Greet shortly at Wrestling Universe.
