#WrestleManiaWeek Update – Drags & Dropkicks Volume 4

Drags & Dropkicks Vol. 4

One of the most unique events for WrestleMania Week is Uncanny Attraction’s Drags & Dropkicks Volume 4! The brainchild of Darnell Mitchell and wrestler MV Young fuses pro wrestling with drag performers for a one of a kind experience! In Tampa will be the fourth installment of their endeavor packed with LGBTQ friendly stars.

Three matches have been announced so far for Drags & Dropkicks Volume 4. First, we have the masterpiece known as Still Life with Apricots & Pears taking on Sugar Dunkerton. Both have in common that they have been mainstays for CHIKARA in different seasons. Dunkerton, who splits his time between Europe and the US, was apart of CHIKARA from season 8 through season 12. Still Life made their debut during season 19 as part of the Nouveau Aesthetic with Ursa Minor in the Night Sky under BLANK. They have since broken away from the tortured artist and become a masterpiece in their own right. In Tampa, these two should create some beautiful artwork.

Another match-up that has been announced so far is a six-person tag team match. RJ City will team with viral social media sensation Danhausen and Shazza McKenzie against Zoe Lucas, Su Yung, and New Zealand’s own Candy Lee. This will only be Candy’s third visit state-side, both of her previous visits had been with RISE Wrestling. The dynamics of these teams will be quite interesting. City is a cocky heel, especially on social media. His teammates are two rather beloved figures by wrestling fans in both Shazza and Danhausen

The main event of this show has also been announced. It will involve two of the biggest and well-known LGBTQ stars in wrestling, Sonny Kiss and EFFY. Sonny Kiss is currently a member of the All Elite Wrestling roster and can be seen on their weekly programming. The Concrete Rose rose to mainstream prominence as the XO Lishus character on Lucha Underground. His cheerleading background and flexibility adds drama and flair to any match he’s involved in. EFFY has exploded on the independent scene through his larger than life personality and willingness to work whatever kind of match there is. He’s gained popularity through his work with promotions like GCW, Bar Wrestling, Freelance Wrestling, Black Label Pro and many others. Surprisingly, these two have never faced off in a singles match before.

Other names set to appear at Drags & Dropkicks Vol. 4 include familiar names for those who have seen their other events such as Billy Dixon, Pinkie Sanchez, Allie Kat, and Roni Nicole. The Maine Street Posse of Aiden Aggro and DangerKid also make their return, as well as the Demigod of Death, Funny Bone. Those making their debuts are Faye Jackson, Devon Monroe, the Carnies, Cole Radrick, Serpentico, and Bobby Orlando. As we countdown to WrestleMania Week in Tampa, more names and matches should be announced.
