Earlier this week, the joyous news was shared by Pacific Northwest-based Danika Della Rouge that she will be making her debut in Japan. Meiko Satomura shared the poster for her upcoming anniversary show with Sendai Girls Pro Wrestling on May 17th. This poster revealed that Danika would be part of the talent featured on this show. She joins fellow gaijin Lena Kross in debuting for the company. Danika was able to team with Meiko during the Wrestle Summit II in Seattle in December 2019.
This will be Danika Della Rouge’s debut outside of North America. A product of the Buddy Wayne Academy, she calls the PNW her home base. Before getting into pro wrestling, she participated in amateur wrestling in high school. It was several years later as a young woman that she decided to chase what she enjoyed which was wrestling. Danika Della Rouge can be seen for promotions across the PNW and has begun to stretch across the West Coast and into Canada. These include companies like DEFY Wrestling, DOA Pro Wrestling, Hoodslam’s GLAM, The West Coast Wrestling Connection, and more.
Just three years into her career, Danika has also enjoyed some incredible opportunities in the mainstream. She’s competed in a tryout for WWE at the Performance Center and has been an extra for them on several occasions. Danika has also participated in a camp at the NJPW LA Dojo camp, renowned for its difficulty. Most recently, she competed for Ring of Honor in their PNW debut. She should be able to shine amongst the other women in Sendai Girls and will continue to improve.
