Adam Brooks Signs With ROH

In an announcement on their website Ring Of Honor (ROH) states that Melbourne native and current Melbourne City Wrestling (MCW) World Champion Adam Brooks has joined the company. The ‘Loose Ledge‘ becomes the latest acquisition ROH’s roster refresh under the guidance of Marty Scurll. Brooks is also the second Australian to join the company, following the signing of Slex in December.

Whilst Brooks has never competed for ROH in the US he is no stranger to many members of the roster. In the past, Adam Brooks has competed against number of ROH stars around the globe, including Matt Taven, Marty Scurll, Dragon Lee, Bandido, Mark Haskins and Brody King. In Brooks’ only match for ROH, he faced then-ROH World Champion Jay Lethal in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2018.

For those unfamiliar with the Australian Brooks began his career in in 2010, under the tutelage of Buddy Murphy (then known as Matt Silva), Brooks quickly rose through the ranks of MCW. Along the way capturing the MCW Tag Team Championships three times and the MCW Intercommonwealth Championship four times.

Ultimately, Brooks would explode onto the international scene in 2017 thanks to his highly touted clashes with Will Ospreay. Following this series of matches Brooks would go on to compete in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), The Crash, CMLL, RevPro, Defiant, PROGRESS, OTT and MLW. He’s also currently set to compete during WrestleMania week for Punk Pro Wrestling as part of the group of shows known as “We Run This Town” against Jamie Senegal.
