The very first match announced for Jalex Takes Back The Power was the titular couple Alex Ocean will take on Jamie Senegal in what us being called a Domestic Dispute. Apparently this all started from Senegal trying to make Ocean drink water from a plastic cup (truly an act of satan). Like all issues between wrestlers, these two will settle this in the ring. Did your brother burn your house down? wrestle him! Did someone kill your dog and feed it to you? Wrestle THEM! Did you catch that girl making eyes at your panda husband? WRESTLE HER!!! It’s nice to see Jalex keep that spirit alive here.
Coming off her recent AEW appearance it was announced that Priscilla Kelly will take on EFFY. “Hell’s favorite harlot” is known for going to some extreme lengths to try and win a match including barfing on her opponent’s penis. It will be interesting to see what she has in store for EFFY.
The latest match announced for Jalex Takes Back The Power will see Candy Lee take on Cheerleader Melissa. Lee has become international news as she has flown the flag for Transgender wrestlers worldwide and even captured a women’s title in her home of New Zealand back in 2017. She takes on a cult icon Cheerleader Melissa. Melissa will go down as one of the biggest missed opportunities in wrestling as she was a five-tool player at a time when women’s wrestling was ruled by the “diva era”. Despite that, she’s carved out a very impressive career as Raisha Sayeed in TNA, Mariposa in Lucha Underground, she even got to compete under the banner of All Japan Women’s Pro Wrestling back in 2002 getting to share a ring with Yumiko Hotta. This match could go under the radar as one of the best of Mania week.
