Generation Championship Wrestling leads the charge as We Run This Town kicks off the WrestleMania week festivities this year. GCW is just one of the companies running under this banner which has started to announce matches for their shows.
March 31st
The first day of festivities sees Punk Pro Wrestling run Dirty Little Secret Show 2. Jamie Senegal takes on Adam Brooks as one of the world’s best looks to make a splash at Mania Week. Brooks had an impressive showing at last year’s mania week that went under the radar so he will be hoping to force people to take notice this year. As for Jamie Senegal, according to Cagematch the “Kween of smoocha libre” debuted in 2015 and has already made some impressive strides in their five year career. Senegal has his own show as part of the festivities Jalex Takes Back The Power which will see Senegal face Alex Ocean.
Also on Dirty Little Secret 2 we will see Tripp Cassidy take on Sonico, and Thomas Shire face Aaron Epic. GCW has made three announcements for their first show as Lucha Underground alumni Cortez Castro faces Damien Angel. And Mechawolf 450 faces 26-year veteran and former WWE star Tajiri. The final match announced features the return of THE ALEX RILEY as he takes on Serpentico, Mechawolf, and Sir Rios Badu in a fatal four way. Elev8 Pro Wrestling and Tampa Bay Pro Wrestling are also running as part of We Run This Town but as of yet, there are no announcements on their side.
April 1st
April 1st sees GCW run their second show. this show features a crazy lucha trios match featuring CRASH tag team Mechawolf 450 and Bestia 666 teaming with Lucha Underground alumni Rey Horus to take on Sir Rios Badu, Serpenticoand former WCW, ECW, WWE and AAA star Psicosis. Psicosis was part of the original wave of luchadores that became famous for their innovative matches in WCW’s cruiserweight division. This show also features a big winner takes all match between the Metro Brothers and the Gym Nasty Boys.
Punk Pro Wrestling are also back for a second show with Cyber Punk Pro 2020. This show features Zachary Cooper taking on Oshay Edwards, a man set to have a breakout year thanks to Mania week. Also on the lineup is Jon Davis vs Tripp Cassidy and a WNRN Internet Championship match between Hunter Law and Ophidian
Platinum Pro Wrestling are running a Luchamania event on this day as part of We Run This Town with Swoggle and Chris Bey among the talent announced. Mechawolf 450 gets his own show on April 1st Wolf’s Night Out there are no matches announced yet but it promises to be an insane night of entertainment.
